I added a bunch of zines to the Tusks Family Store for YOU to buy.
Including:
Happy Birthday Every Day - a set of four zines - one for each season - compiling drawings I made over the course of a year. There’s a drawing of a person (or people) born on each day of the year. The people depicted are artists, musicians, athletes, magicians, and actors - all people who can be found in the section of the library that I work in.
Rarebit Sleepover - a zine about the time I became obsessed with Winsor McCay’s Dream of the Rarebit Fiend comic strip from the early 20th century and convinced a group of people to eat rarebit (cheesy sauce on toast) before bed so we could find out if our dreams would be terrible, as in the comic strip.
Draw a Thing Every Day - a collection of drawing prompts from the project I’ve been doing on and off over here for the last year or so. Plus some new prompts. If you draw one every day this will last you for 217 days. Or 7 months of 31 days each.
A Great and Terrible Golden Age #2 and #3 - more movies of the 1930s. #2 has contributions from lots of great people on a variety of movies, and #3 is a deep dive into Claudette Colbert’s movies from the year 1934.
